Marietta College gearing up for summer basketball camps
Pioneers to host four camps, begining with Shootouts on June 7 and June 14

MARIETTA, Ohio — The Marietta College men's basketball team will host four camps during the month of June, beginning with Shootout Camps on June 7 and June 14.
The Shootout Camp is a day camp and high school teams play against each other. The cost is $210 per team.
Another basketball camp is a Day Camp for third- and fourth-grade boys and girls. The Day Camp is June 9-11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Day Camp is $100 per child. The camp will consist of teaching basketball fundamentals to each young player.
The Residential Camp will be June 15-19 for fifth through 11th graders. The camp is intended for basketball players to stay the night on Marietta College's campus. The camp runs from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. The cost of the camp is $295 for residents and $235 for commuters. Marietta College basketball players will help run the Resident Camp.
A final camp is held June 23-25, the Team Camp. The Team Camp, similar to the Shootout Camps, will feature high school teams playing games against one another. High school teams will stay on Marietta College's campus during three-day camp. The camp will feature three days of games and camps. The first night will feature an overtime tournament, the second night will feature a special situation tournament and the last night will feature a regular game tournament.
