The following guidelines should make covering the Marietta College Pioneers easier.

Credentials:
All requests for working press, photo and broadcast credentials and parking passes to cover Marietta's 2008-09 home games must be made in writing at least one week prior to the game.
The demand for credentials is normally met each week, but for certain games each year we must strictly follow the guidelines. Therefore, media regularly assigned to cover Marietta and the visiting school will receive top priority.
Photo credentials are issued for still photographers and video photographers. All photographers must work with the guidelines as prescribed by the NCAA.
Any abuse of a working credential can result in the media source losing the credential privileges for the remainder of the 2008-09 season. |
At the game:
Complete statistics and play-by-play are provided to all working media. The Pioneer pressboxes have a limited number of telephone lines. They are primarily reserved for radio broadcasts.
The Marietta College pressboxes are non-cheering facilities. So all working media must be objective while using the facilities.

After the game:
Coaches are available for interviews, please contact Dan May before approaching the coaches.
Players will be made available upon request. No media will be granted access to the locker room |
During the week:
Pioneer coaches do not have a regularly scheduled press conference, so interview requests should go through the sports information office.
Media must request player interviews through the SID office. |
